South Australia has announced the outcomes of its February 2026 General Skilled Migration (GSM) invitation round under the 2025–26 Skilled and Business Migration Program. The state continues to actively select skilled migrants across all four migration streams to address priority workforce needs.
In the February 2026 round, South Australia issued 364 state nomination invitations, comprising 227 invitations for the Skilled Nominated visa (Subclass 190) and 137 invitations for the Skilled Work Regional visa (Subclass 491). Invitations were extended across a broad range of ANZSCO sub-major occupation groups, highlighting strong demand in sectors such as healthcare, engineering, design, and information and communications technology (ICT).
To date in the 2025–26 program year, South Australia has issued 1,295 nomination invitations, including 837 Subclass 190 and 458 Subclass 491 invitations. These figures reflect the state’s ongoing commitment to attracting skilled professionals to support economic growth and regional development.
